Chemical Sales Representative (Bulk Sales)

- Responsible for bulk sales activities
- Provide timely quotes and requisitions for bulk customers.
- Maintain bulk customers and vendors relationship.
- Assist in maintaining bulk sales systems and procedures.
- Effectively liaise with other departments in a professional manner as required to communicate problems
- and issues relating to bulk sales.
- Protect company property and data.
- As part of the Global Bulk team, develop business and relationships within the global bulk sales team.
- Produce competitive quotes for bulk items in a timely fashion.
- Target - 80% quotes complete within 2 working days, target - 90% of quotes complete in 5 working days.
- Prepare monthly quote log and keep up-to-date. Share the quote log with key members of the sales team
- as required.
- Ensure that requisitions are prepared for orders or inventory for stock.
- Seek out new vendors for the whole Alfa Aesar product line and develop a database of chemical suppliers.
- Develop a key account list with key contacts, products used – with phone, fax & e-mail addresses, as appropriate.
- Background in research chemical industry.
- Well known of inorganic market will be a plus.
- Strong English skills.
- At least 3 years working experience (Max 7 years) in a commercial environment and an understanding
- of bulk sales principles, systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
