For our location in Allschwil/Basel we are looking for a:

Senior Supply Chain Manager (Clinical Trials)

As Senior Clinical Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for actively participating in Business Development activities for the Clinical Supply Optimization Service (CSOS). You will work closely with our clients to understand the supply chain requirements to support clinical trials:

Your responsibilities:
  • Utilize your extensive network in the pharmaceutical industry to generate and cultivate leads for the CSOS
  • Work with Sales to coordinate a full-service approach with prospective clients
  • Develop new or improve existing business processes. Document, revise or develop associated training materials
  • Design and implement strategies to supply study drug to global clinical trials using sound supply chain techniques
  • Manage studies by leveraging the inventory management capabilities of Interactive Response Technology (IRT)
  • Manage the long-term drug supply planning of studies by use of Simulation System
  • Mentor and coach new associates on best practices associated with managing clinical supply chains
  • Keep updated on relevant cGMPs, GCPs and other regulatory requirements and ensure study management activities are aligned
  • Lead study discussions from Study Set up Phases via Maintenance Phases to Close out in order to cover the complete Supply Chain
  • Attend relevant client-related meetings and appropriately represent status of the Clinical Supply Chain

Your qualifications:
  • Degree in Operations Management or science-related field required (equivalent work experience may be considered)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management (Clinical Trials a plus)
  • Certified in Project Management is preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational and self-management skills
  • Team player
  • Outstanding communication skills. Fluent in English – German is a plus
