Job Description

EMEA Biosciences Division Integrated Campaign Manager

Activities Include:

  • The primary objective of the regional marketing organization is to lead the transformation of global business strategy into regionally relevant, inspiring marketing that creates customer value, revenue and growth
  • Overall responsibility to define the regional marketing strategy for the Integrated campaigns that cross business units, taking into account business goals, customer segments and competitor plays.
  • These campaigns include (but are not limited to):
    • Sales activation campaigns to improve sales results in all accounts including Biotech accounts
    • BID wide campaigns originating from the Global BU such as Brand and other specific campaigns
    • Cross Business Unit (BU) campaigns originating in EMEA
  • Supervises the BID Product Management specialist
  • To work closely with the Commercial sales leaders to achieve revenue targets
  • To deliver EMEA Marketing revenue targets and improve Marketing ROI
  • Interacts with senior leadership, negotiate and influence on critical policy-making decisions both within the EMEA leadership team and the Divisional leadership team

Customers

  • Regulary interact with customers to ensure VOC defines all integrated marketing activites, know customer segments and their drivers across EMEA’s geographies

Working with Divisions and BU’s

  • Work collaboratively with the global BID Integrated Camaigns group to give input into strategy and to ensure global Cross BU tactical campaigns:
    • resonate with customers to achieve EMEA specific objectives
    • can be deployed in EMEA taking into consideration the landscape of the regional markets
  • Supplement global integrated campaigns with EMEA specific cross BU campaigns, projects or programs such as sales activation campaigns to fully meet regional needs and make annual revenue operating plans
  • Proactive participation in the annual planning process
  • Leads strategy, approach and, if relevant, the execution of the integrated campaigns in channels and emerging markets
  • Defines and reviews appropriate metrics to track success of integrated campaigns in EMEA
  • Responsible for integrating regional marketing dynamics into business strategy using analysis of markets, customer segmentation, competitive environment. Responsible for regional customer feedback (VOC) and sales feedback (VOS) into the business units and division.

Working with Marketing Operations and EMEA functional teams

  • Work with Marketing Project Manager (MPM) and MarCom partners to define and deploy integrated campaign, programs and projects in EMEA considering breadth of sales channels, breadth of marketing communications channels and range of geographies
  • Work with Marketing Intel to understand macro and micro market influences in EMEA and define specific country solutions
  • Work with Marketing Analytics to understand ROI and revenue generation for specific marketing activites

Working with Commercial leaders and sales channels

  • Where appropriate, ensure all sales channels have appropriate tools and training to deploy the integrated campaigns
  • Where appropriate, work with channel partners to ensure all relevant channels are trained to deploy the integrated campaigns

Revenue & Budget Responsibility:

  • Deliver marketing activities to achieve marketing revenues goal and commercial revenue goals
  • Responsibility for Marketing OpEx for the Integrated Campaigns and to ensure the ROI of marketing activities in line with EMEA targets

Skills and Background:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong marketing background with proven experience in both strategic and tactical marketing
  • Proven experience to work across business units to create customer relevant campaigns
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without having direct authority
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload
  • Ability to work in a large organization within a matrix
  • Demonstrates the 4is; Innovation, integrity, intensity and involvement
  • A scientific background will be a bonus but is not essential
