MARKETING AUTOMATION SPECIALIST - MARKETING

In this position you will be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.

Thermo Fisher IDD is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist who can provide the leadership needed to continue developing our aggressive digital strategies. The Marketing Automation Specialist will develop and manage omni-channel marketing campaigns in Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua) to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement. The successful candidate will execute integrated-campaigns and champion best practices, implement segmentation, and establish engagement scoring and dashboards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with internal teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution for direct mail (email) campaigns: including targeted, nurture and trigger email programs.
  • Advises marketing campaign requestors of best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing and projected results.
  • Builds and executes marketing campaigns via Eloqua – activities include but not limited to, campaign flow builds, email creation, outbound landing page creation, form creation, media placement tracking, etc.
  • Ensures brand compliance.
  • Continually develops marketing automation education & participation in online communities to expand learning opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains HTML templates, landing pages and forms.
  • Understands how design impacts engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with IDD, SDG and corporate policies.
  • Documents IDD regulatory approval in system.
  • Manages and reports analytical tracking and performance.
  • Participates in Eloqua user forums, conferences and other events to stay current on best practices and new product offerings.
  • Works in a global regulatory environment were localization is key to success.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Eloqua or other Marketing Automation System is preferred. Eloqua Master is a plus.
  • Understanding of key digital marketing strategies and concepts.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a must.
  • Experience in a regulated environment and or life sciences a plus.
  • History of executing campaigns in local language preferred.
  • High attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Candidate must flourish in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-orientated and ability to work independently.
  • Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to work with remote co-workers
  • This position requires international travel – up to 25%, as required.

This position has not been approved for relocation. The person in this role may be based remotely in Chicago, Detroit, New York, or any major metropolitan area (East Coast preferred).
