Job Title: Sales Manager CMD, Italy South
Reports To: GM Sales Italy
Group/Division: CMD
Career Band: VIII
Location: Country Italy: Remote


Position Summary
  • Manages and controls all Sales activities for the entire CMD portfolio in the Center and South of Italy (GC-GCMS, IC/SP, TEA, HPLC and LSMS)
  • Weekly accurate forecasting activities
  • Contributes to the overall Sales goals by achieving Country quarterly and annual targets
  • Comply to the company T&C and financial guidelines
  • Responsible to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction/loyalty
  • To build a strong, motivated team through management and personal development of its members
  • To drive the quality of implementation through continuous improvement (PPI)

Main Activities / Responsibilities
  • Achieve Country/Area quarterly and annual sales plan for bookings and revenues
  • Responsible to fully implement all business processes, procedures and programs related to the Commercial Organisation
  • Manages sales activities of the Country/Area and ensures timely and high quality sales reporting like leads funnel and forecast
  • Set up common sales activities metrics for the Sales Reps/Agent
  • Always ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.
  • Develop sales synergies with other sales teams
  • Follow our ethical business conduct guidance
  • Responsible for the completion of the annual PMD process of his team.
  • Manage day to day operations like holiday administration, training, expenses reports
  • To work closely with ULS organization for optimizing the β€œone” face to the customer

Skills/Competencies
  • Successful Sales team management experience
  • Customer focused
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels (factories, sales operations, internal support functions)
  • Ability to lead meetings even in English
  • Ability to facilitate best practices workshops
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and Europe


Job Qualifications
  • Professional background in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Engineering or related subjects
  • Strong Leadership and management skills
  • Good Product Knowledge of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different
  • priorities
  • Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales management position
