Job Description

We have been setting decisive and innovative trends for many years in the development, manufacturing and marketing of instruments and software for chemical analysis laboratories (HPLC – High Performance Liquid Chromatography). The expertise of our highly qualified staff contributes significantly to our economic success, enabling us to continuously expand our site in Germering near Munich, Germany.

For this site we are looking for a

(Senior) Support Specialist nano flow HPLC-MS (f/m)

Your Responsibilities:

  • International Support of our service organization for resolving technical and applicative issues of our analytical instrumentation
  • Create and maintain technical training materials and conduct technical trainings for our service organization
  • Escalation management and cross-functional collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions for nano flow HPLC-MS support requests
  • Monitor product quality and performance of the nano flow HPLC Portfolio
  • Efficient communication of field feedback to all relevant departments in order to continuously improve product Quality

Your Profile:

  • PhD or Master’s in a scientific or technical field with a background in chemistry, biochemistry or related
  • alternatively Bachelor's degree with relevant working experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in nano flow HPLC-MS in the field of Proteomics or related
  • Good understanding of protein and peptide LCMS workflows such as protein ID and protein quantitation
  • Experience with instrument control and information software packages (e.g. Xcalibur, Chromeleon, Proteome Discoverer, MaxQuant, etc.)
  • Strong affinity to technical contexts, combined with strong critical thinking and problem solving capabilities (e.g. Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel
  • Self-confidence and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is desirable, but not a must)
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured working style in a dynamic and evolving team environment
  • Ability to prioritize, effective time management and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel (inter)nationally (~25%)
