The Sales Operational Analyst will join the Commercial Operations team, supporting a global commercial organization in the field of Transplant Diagnostics. The Sales Operational Analyst is responsible for activities relating to compiling and reporting commercial metrics, managing the CRM system, support for sales commission plans, support and maintain sales forecast models and other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and regularly generate comprehensive data reports (standardized and ad hoc reports) for dissemination to global commercial team
  • Maintaining CRM tools in Salesforce.com with tasks such as case management, training, implementation projects, creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, user and territory alignments, price book maintenance
  • Support contracts team on contract compliance
  • Complete the roll-up of sales forecasts from each manager on a weekly basis, and produce additional analytics and measurements
  • Implement and enforce processes and tools that will maintain integrity and accuracy of CRM data
  • Manage on-going CRM usability and efficiency training as needed
  • Develop, administer and communicate commission plans for all commission-eligible employees, and SPIFF development and tracking. Special incentive programs are run regularly
  • Additional projects as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher learning institution
  • 5 years of work experience in the area of finance, sales operations or sales analyst work
  • Demonstrated understanding of standard business practices related to sales operations processes and systems (sales cycle, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, territory management, and sales quotas.)
  • Experience with Business Tools (i.e. ERP, SAP, Salesforce.com, and data warehouse)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated success through the use of analytical tools and databases
  • Strong process orientation and a metrics driven approach to sales management
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to collaborate with various levels and functions within the organization
  • Ability to work in a matrix, global environment
  • Understanding of continuous improvement process concepts (PPI, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience working in Domestic and International Sales or Sales Operations environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Field sales experience
