Job Description

Job Summary:
Performs audits, investigates, dispositions, laboratory and production oversight, stability oversight, regulatory training, submissions, validation, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) computer systems, equipment, processes document and records management, change control management, etc. Manages the functions and staff, to assure product, process, and records comply with company specifications, legal agreements, and applicable regulations as a requirement for release to license holder and/or market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understands requirements and processes for Best in Class Quality On The Floor (QAOTF) and QA for QC
  • Assists in development of roles and responsibilities for new QAOTF organization supporting Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing operations
  • Develops and delivers training curriculum and content for QAOTF and QA for QC functions
  • Leads large cross-functional and complex initiatives to identify, develop, modify, improve, and implement operational excellence solutions.
  • Oversee all aspects of project scope, schedule, resource risks and overall management to ensure and drive successful delivery.
  • Through the analysis of Quality and Compliance processes, and understanding of industry best practice, collect and translate Quality insights, ideas and concepts into clearly defined requirements for process improvements
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, takes accountability and drives for results.
  • Secondary Responsibilities
  • Ensure that solutions implemented are scalable, flexible and consistent in all regions whenever possible.
  • Coordinate with North America counterparts to determine and communicate global impact of proposed changes.
  • Provides direct supervision and may assist with the work as demands dictate
  • Provides tactical direction and immediate supervision to a group of employees by assigning tasks, checking work, and maintaining schedules. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field
  • 7 years’ work experience in a quality setting
  • Understands requirements and processes for Best in Class Quality On The Floor (QAOTF) and QA for QC
  • 1-2 years management experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead professional staff in order to achieve goals, evaluate and resolve complex technical problems
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
