Lillestrøm and Oslo, Norway

Dynabeads products produced in Norway are used in break-through technologies, lifesaving assays and clinical applications that require a high level of quality in all steps of the production and control processes. Our customers are world leading pharma and diagnostics companies which have chosen us as their business partner. This means that we as a company must have control over the quality at an elite level. Our quality control team currently consists of 19 team members and is located in both Lillestrøm and Oslo.

As our inspiring and energetic QC Manager Selma will be going on parental leave, we are now looking to find a new colleague to join and lead our fantastic Quality Control team for a period of 1 year. Your key responsibilities
  • Lead the QC team, ensuring appropriate training and development for all employees in the team
  • Continuously improve methods and processes such that quality standards are raised and productivity targets are met
  • Manage the QC team such that raw materials, finished goods, environmental samples and utilities are tested on time and according to the requisite quality standards
  • Manage stability testing programs
  • Manage contract testing facilities
  • Collaborate with and effectively represent QC in meetings and audits with internal and external customers
  • Ensure that new and revised QC testing methods are effectively implemented
  • Manage the QC departmental budget in a manner which maximizes value and meets targets
  • Evaluate trend analyses, participate in root cause analyses and initiate appropriate actions (CAPA) when necessary
  • Follow up on deviations, non-conformances, out of specification (OOS) results and necessary changes in line with regulatory requirements

Experience/Qualifications needed to succeed:
  • BSc within chemistry, biology/biotechnology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluent (spoken and written) in a Scandinavian language as well as English
