Position Summary:

This position within the Product Management team is a supporting role to the product managers, enabling them to better develop and manage new and existing products aceoss product life-cycle through assessment of customer requirements, technology validation, pricing and productivity goals

The role had global responsibility and supports the Product Management team with the LC, GC, sample preparation portfolios but with a specific focus on Sample Handling (chromatography vials, plates and cloures). The position has a strong data focus and requires an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively, with a good customer focus and commercial awareness.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Data management support – in collaboration with the finance organization to own and manage the master product data. Activities to include (but not limited to);
  • Addition/removal of products from relevant business systems, assisting the Product Managers with product lifecycle activities
  • Maintain and manage data in internal product databases and Ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Update commercial pricing
  • Acting as a triage for questions on pricing, product data
  • With the PM’s, developing processes within specific area

Support key initiatives alongside the product managers and offer assistance as required in;
  • New product development
  • Lifecycle management
  • Customer requirement assessment
  • Technology validation
  • Pricing and productivity support
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Degree in science/technology or experience as an APM
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
  • Strong data management skills/experience with databases
  • Effective communicator with excellent oral/written communications skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaborative worker
