Role: International Sales Co-ordinator
Division: CCG / RSD
Location: Loughborough

Position Summary:

Day to day responsibility for export customers for allocated countries/areas, duties including order & quote editing/processing, screening of customers & orders/enquiries for export compliance, quotation follow up, complaint management, sourcing non-catalogue products, tendering, applying customs and export compliance regulations, meeting of deadlines for shipments and general resolution of customer enquiries, both verbal & written, proactively presenting solutions rather than problems to others

  • Working alongside Export sales team to provide exceptional customer service, for customers in the EEMEA region. Handling and responding to all types of customer service issues – orders (from receipt to shipment), quotes, tenders and general enquiries which can be complex in nature, whilst striving to exceed Individual/Departmental/Company KPIs & skilfully balancing the customer needs with business demands.
  • Strictly adhering to customs & export compliance regulations
  • Maintaining a prospect bank of tenders and where required, collating & analysing tender data, sourcing products from suppliers to fulfil requirements of tenders/quotes/orders, collating and assembling tender documents where necessary
  • Highly skilled in promoting a positive corporate reputation. Maintains composure even when faced with the most difficult or challenging situations and has the ability to navigate through organizational boundaries
  • Willingness to visit customers, attend exhibitions, training events and meetings (which may involve overnight stays) and be flexible with working hours to meet business needs
  • Effectively perform your duties whilst acting at all times in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
  • Embrace and participate in PPI initiatives to identify improvements and cost savings to the business

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

  • Strong self motivated individual with open and clear communication skills, both written & verbal with a proven history of excellent export customer service skills within an export customer service environment

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Proven experienced at working in a pressured export environment, managing and prioritizing high volumes of work
  • Proven working knowledge of IATA/IMDG regulations & Letter of credits or appropriate qualifications
  • Proven working knowledge of Export documentation & export licenses or appropriate export qualifications
  • Minimum 2 A – levels or equivalent (in a Science subject and English – desirable but not essential)
  • Intermediate level experience in Microsoft word/Excel
  • Prepared to travel overseas occasionally
