Regional Sales Manager
Group / Division: Analytical Instruments Group/ Chemical Analysis Division

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual sales plan to meet and exceed market area sales revenue targets, including strategies to:
  • Develop rapport with existing and prospective customers and industry bodies and drive new business opportunities
  • Develop partnerships and/or good working relationships with local complimentary businesses to enhance market positioning and intelligence
  • Prepare quotations and tender submissions for the market area in liaison with management and carry out follow-up with customers for products and services
  • Regularly communicate with all departments involved in product manufacturing with regards to dispatch times, spare parts information and availability, documentation, etc.
  • Complete on-time weekly and monthly reporting
  • Contribute to the formulation of marketing plans and growth strategies
  • Feedback to internal departments from the marketplace
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 2 Year Technical Degree or 4 Year BS Degree – 4 year BS Engineering preferred
  • Industrial Controls Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in product sales and service or engineering
  • High level knowledge of and skills in field instrumentation or process control systems
  • Sound knowledge of mineral processing techniques
  • Experience in the preparation of quotes, tenders etc.Very good administration skills
  • Team player and diplomatic
  • Excellent negotiation skills and Business development strategies
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • A self-starter and able to work responsibility autonomously
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and ideally French, both verbally and written
  • Current Drivers License
