About the job
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract to support our current HR Business Partners as we transition across to Thermo Fisher’s ways of working. You will be responsible for partnering with various business units across our two sites; Swindon and Abingdon allowing one of our HR Business Partners to manage this harmonisation project.
This is an exciting time for us as we are going through a growth period; transitioning to a matrix model and bringing new clients on site so you will need to thrive in a fast paced, changing world; able to assess and anticipate HR-related needs, solving problems quickly and proactively managing change throughout your business units. Offering a value-added, hands on service for end to end employee life cycle activities including recruitment, remuneration, performance, employee relations and health and safety to all employees within your business units.
Even though this is a contract role we are looking for someone who will naturally want to build long-term, trusting relationships with our colleagues, sharing your knowledge and expertise, making a true impact on our business.
You will be CIPD qualified with extensive HR Business Partnering experience in a pharmaceutical, production or manufacturing environment. This combination of qualifications and experience will make you confident in your skills to make a difference to the business quickly; to have a strong point of view and express it and an ability to communicate high-level decisions down to the whole organisation.
