Job Description
This position reports to the Master Scheduler and is responsible for SIOP analysis functions in Europe.
Preferred education & experience:
- Experience within an ERP system utilizing MRP is essential
- Experience in Business / Supply Chain analysis
- Experience in Production Planning / Supply Planning
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field (Business, Ops Management, Engineering)
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Compile key metric data and perform analysis for SIOP, Class A ERP and other supply chain needs;
- Utilise SalesForce.com software to provide sales forecast data to be used to develop short, medium and long term capacity plans, production schedules, resource & raw material forecasts using MRP Simulation functionality and external to ERP means such as MS Excel
- Regular maintenance of materials & logistics settings within the Oracle ERP system (product lead times, inventory levels, MOQ settings, product ATP Rules)
- Provide data to support lead time reduction initiatives on EMEA products making recommendations and maintaining Oracle based data;
- Calculate and report the on time shipment performance for all product lines in Europe, trending & coding issues and contribute towards improvement initiatives
- Calculating and reporting on back orders, identifying actions to minimize and reduce
- Determine & maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet the business needs and support lead time requirements
- Management of MTS data & demand forecasts within the Oracle ERP system
- Participate in continuous improvement activities such as kaizen as directed and use data to support activities working with cross functional teams to achieve process improvements
- Work with Customer Service, Purchasing, Product Management, Logistics, Shipping & Quality
- Provide cover for the Planning Team roles & Master Scheduler in event of holiday / absence
- Attend metric board meetings on a daily basis to communicate and act on issues to prevent production or shipping delays.

- To understand and accept personal responsibilities for Health & Safety on site in compliance with UK legislation and the Company’s Health & Safety Management System.

- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Excellent organizational, documentation & communication skills
- A passion for continuous improvement with a can do attitude is essential
- Experience with ERP systems and a working knowledge of MRP methodology
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods desirable
