Job Description

The opportunity has arisen to join our Life Science Solutions team. This role will see you driving market share via a range of activities, including lead generation. A key component of this role is conducting business dealings with prospective customers in a manner that creates a superior customer experience. As the successful candidate, you will enjoy fostering relationships, expanding your network and be passionate about Life Science.


Responsibilities:
  • Prospect into multiple organisations through phone calls, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, social media and other information sources
  • Produce qualified leads and set appointments at a rate that is aligned with the organisation’s growth plans
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting calls
  • Qualify sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
  • Participate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns, special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate sales development skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Academic qualifications in Life Sciences
  • Prior commercial experience
  • Previous lab experience (preferable, not essential)
  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office packages
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases used in marketing a plus
  • Experience with a CRM system a plus
