How Will You Make an Impact?

In this key role, you will develop and maintain all aspects of the security site plan that will cover the physical, systems, processes, and employee and contractor requirements. This position directs and administers contract security services to ensure that the physical property is protected and provisions are made for the welfare and safety of all employees. You will also manage security programs and support DEA and Emergency Medical Services to ensure regulatory compliance. You will support all security activities to ensure that the physical property is protected and provisions are made for the welfare and safety of all employees for the site.




What will you do?

  • Support the designing of systems for Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) process.
  • Develop the site master plan and monitor changes for security of our employees, client product, buildings and assets.
  • Serve as the primary user of the security systems such as: cameras, card access, intrusion, and life safety computer systems. This includes feedback and support in the design, management, documentation, preventative maintenance (PM), upgrades, troubleshooting and corrective actions to the system.
  • Own and manage the site security controlled high security key system and enforcement of these procedures.
  • Audit people access to the site and develop process for non-employees to be on site.
  • Own the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) harmonization for site access for contractors, visitors and temporary staffing.
  • Manage the contract and day to day functions of the security company to deliver the contract scope to meet the needs of the site.
  • Perform periodic audits on scope, training, function, etc. Oversee the on time completion of system PMs.
  • Ensure product demands are met and DEA reports/spreadsheets are current.
  • Represent the company as the focal point of employee security, for commercial product security and for regulatory visits.
  • Provide on call 24/7 Security and Emergency Services and serves as a Logistic Officer for emergency events.
  • Conduct thorough incident review processes to identify root cause and Corrective Actions / Preventative Actions (CAPA).
  • Perform frequent site and system audits. Manage expense budgets for security improvements.
  • Ensure security operations are in compliance with safety and security procedures and are adhered to at all times.
  • Support Human Resources and Site leadership in employee relations issues and investigations.



How will you get there?


Education

BS/BA with a concentration in physical or biological science, industrial technology, criminal justice or related field is preferred

Experience

  • Six to ten years of related experience within a corporate security, law enforcement or military environment.
  • Experience with emergency response tactics a plus.
  • Excellent customer facing skills, strong service orientation
  • A strong and effective communication skillsor
  • Knowledge of DEA, OSHA regulations, state and local building codes.
  • System Knowledge: Card Access, Security, Fire and Life Safety, Camera, etc. Strong understanding of best practices and solutions to security requirements.
  • Ability to identify all relevant security aspects and assess corresponding risks to minimize security impact.
  • Ability to react quickly to changing environments or incidents on site and identify and analyze problems.
