How Will You Make an Impact?

The Human Resources Business Partner will lead the execution of HR strategies for a major global organization within the Pharmaceuticals Services Group. Will provide day-to-day HR support for employees as well as act as an advisor to the business leadership team.


What will you do?

  • Translate business objectives to people goals and processes.
  • Drive growth through alignment and execution through regional HRBP’s and/or the Field HR teams.
  • Identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Coach senior leaders on complex leadership and HR issues including development, engagement, and talent performance and issues which could have the potential to create a competitive advantage for the business.
  • Develop robust talent management plans and drives culture change initiatives to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent.
  • Act as a catalyst for change; guides and directs organizational design, development and change management solutions; Leads large scale change initiatives.
  • Develop and promote ongoing feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes.
  • Work with the HR Platforms to review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives.
  • Drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
  • Facilitate a strong leadership based, coaching and inclusive culture.

How will you get there?


Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline is required, Master’s Degree preferred

Experience
  • 13+ years of Human Resources Management experience within a large multi-national company
  • Skilled Human Resources Practitioner that leverages tools, systems and resources to drive organizational effectiveness, understand business strategy and identifies the people strategies and tactics that support realization of business goals.
  • A strong change agent with the ability to work in a geographically diverse. matrix environment.
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Expert knowledge of HR domains, systems, practices and processes and Employment Law.
  • Knowledge of external industry and organization tools and trends
  • Understanding the impact of Industry changes on the environment and organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute activities required to successfully move an organization through a transition or a strategic initiative. Experience in ensuring employees have the tools to navigate and act as an advocate for the change.
  • Strong Analytical Reasoning ability, with experience in defining relevant metrics for the business.
  • Experience in knowledge transfer and ability to move best practices from one entity to the next.
  • Ability to adapt and drive results, and leverage knowledge of formal organizational and informal social network relationships. Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of personal and group styles.
  • Ability to navigate effectively through a complex and/or matrix environment, ability to secure and leverage resources to get work done through both formal and informal channels.
  • Ability to grow and foster collaboration among stakeholders and team members and provide creative solutions and using a multitude of inputs and/or resources to achieve intended goals.
  • Proven ability to assess, analyze and advise internal clients as to best practices and solutions in alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Demonstrate exceptional personal credibility; engendering trust, keeping confidences, building relationships and rapport with colleagues across all levels of the organization, effectively contracts with the business to define scope of efforts that are realistic and attainable, reads situations quickly, facilitates conflict resolution, able to determine appropriate actions and options to reach reasonable solutions and adapts style, approach or message to stakeholders to drive intended results.
  • Strong communication skills – both oral and written; easily demonstrates for stakeholders capability in creating sustainable results; personal impact, authority and pace come through at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent technical skills (i.e. MS Word, PPT, Excel) and the use of current HRIS tools (i.e. Workday)
