Job Summary

 Work with the channel partners to monitor & grow MBD business in assigned territory

 Support and manage distributor(s) by providing them the necessary support

 Regular meetings and promotion of Microbiology products to target customer

 Coordination for promotional activities like CMEs/conferences/on Site Seminar Etc .

 Effective management and monitoring of sales

 Identification of Key Opinion Leaders from the pharma , Institutional & Clinical professionals within the targeted region

 Responsible for growing profitable sales in region using cost efficient methods

 Lead Business development initiatives in the Region, with aim of improving Market Share in major /key accounts

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Management of sales to achieve Revenue from the assigned territory

 Develop business relationship in target Key Account & increase the Share of Wallet

 Development and advancement of KOL sites in the region and have continuous engagement drive

 Co-working with sales & marketing team of Distributors for market penetration

 Collect, collate and provide market intelligence

 Track and monitor the usage pattern of the customers

 Synergize with the Marketing /product management team to cater all technical queries of the customers

 Evaluate, coach, and develop channel partners covering the territories and deliver strong sales growth

Drive visibility and accountability through improved sales pipeline, forecast management and leverage sales tools for pipeline updates & tracking

QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelors / Masters degree in Pharma, Science preferably in Microbiology

 At least 7-10 years experience in sales of scientific solutions to any or all of the following markets Pharmaceutical, BioPharma, Life Science Research (Govt & Academics), Healthcare ,

Experience in Microbiology market is preferable

 Know Eastern Market ( Industrial & Clinical )

 Experience of Key Account Management , Govt. Tender Business & Channel Management

Other Attributes:

 Strong communication skills

 Good analytical skills

 Scientific approach to the customers

 Efficient work organizational skills

 Experience in large corporations

 Experience in Key Account Management

 Excellent presentation and troubleshooting skills

 Must have scientific way of thinking and establishing concepts

 Good industry contacts

 Willingness to travel 75% of the time region

 Team player

 Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales through channel management
