Responsibilities:

  • Supports execution of country STRAP (Strategic Plan): The STRAP is a business document which holds the company strategic direction. This is a 5 year business plan which includes growth plans along with investments
    • Setup STRAP performance dashboard for the divisions and leadership team. Ensure timely intervention to keep initiatives on track as per timelines and targets
    • Work closely with cross functional and cross divisional teams
    • Ownership of executing initiatives under rolling-5 year country STRAP
    • Fact base and information provider to the leadership team for key strategic decisions
    • Collaborate across businesses to support development of new STRAP initiatives every year
  • Implementation of commercial excellence (CE) projects: The role of CE is to increase the level of commercial discourse and decision making in the company. Each business function and division will setup project teams to deliver various projects on CE. This role will need to support these teams with best practices from within and outside organization
    • Implement CE roadmap for the company
    • Support in development of strategic marketing capability in various divisions
    • Closely work with division/function CE teams to deliver projects. These projects would include but will not be limited to areas such as CRM, Data quality, Analytics, Business reporting, Market performance, etc.
    • The role is expected to suggest relevant projects for various divisions and functions relevant to grow the business
    • Support development of sales productivity roadmap and commercial heads to structure and analyze their businesses
    • Support CE teams to analyze information to develop meaningful reporting

Minimum qualifications

  • Work experience
    • Minimum 5 years of work experience after MBA completion
    • Areas could include business intelligence, strategic marketing, strategy, analytics or related domain
    • Sales experience through direct sales, channel sales, key account management is not mandatory but preferred
  • Educational background
    • Bachelors degree in economics, mathematics, finance, engineering
    • MBA from a top university is a must
  • Skills needed
    • Excellent planning, modeling, analytical skills with high learning agility
    • Project management experience, leading and working with multi functional teams
    • Excellent presentation and persuasion skills with top management, and the ability to understand real business levers from the ground-up
    • Ability to coach and present complex concepts in a simple manner to sales managers
    • Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Ability to process large amount of data and provide business insights
    • Hands on working required
    • Can work in a dynamic environment and provide direction
    • Working experience in a multinational organisation and matrix environment
