Job Description

Position Summary:

This role occupies a unique space at the intersection of marketing and technology with a goal to drive processes that better enable our teams to achieve their goals more efficiently. This opportunity requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to operate with confidence in a dynamic, technical environment across multiple digital marketing channels such as email, 3rd party advertising, SEO, onsite merchandising and more. At the core of the position is high attention to detail, and delivering high quality results on time. As Manager, Digital Marketing Channels you will be the leader in delivering against new projects’ critical success factors, timelines and dependencies in partnership with key marketing leads, digital marketing technology specialists, and analysts on the team. This role will be responsible for executing large-scale, complex digital marketing programs and driving the program’s success end-to-end through optimization and flawless execution.

Your team will execute marketing campaigns leveraging a suite of digital marketing tools from Adobe, Oracle, Salesforce.com and IBM. This is a great opportunity to evolve the tools and process while providing excellent digital marketing delivery.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and coordinate the design and delivery of the digital marketing technology stack
  • Optimize use of data, technology and digital tactics to improve customer experience, leading to greater acquisition and retention of customers
  • Leverage highly effective project management skills to drive complex cross-functional programs
  • Leverages highly effective written and verbal communication skills with peers and leadership
  • Lead and influence a range of internal stakeholders to gain alignment and ensure timely, effective execution of projects
  • Evaluate effectiveness of digital marketing technology through metrics and analysis and makes recommendation on business cases
  • Drive the consolidation and health of contact and account data
  • Complete and deliver strategic reporting

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a digital marketing-driven organization
  • Strong analytical, collaboration and project management experience
  • Able to interpret data and make recommendations accordingly
  • Able to collaborate effectively and lead key stakeholders
  • Experience with relevant marketing technologies, including email marketing, CRM and web analytics
  • Experience with predictive analytics, demand-side platforms, dynamic merchandising, ad management platforms is a plus

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Project management experience
  • 5+ years of software and application development experience
  • Experience with basic front-end web development tools and concepts – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, responsive web development, etc.
  • Strong experience with software design patterns, system architecture, service-oriented architecture, and API’s
  • Strong database skills and understanding of database optimization concepts
  • Ability and preferably a general affinity for learning new technology
