Essential Functions:

  • Leads the development of all general accounting, cash flow, general ledger, cost accounting and accounts payable statements and reporting.
  • Prepares the annual plans, quarterly forecasts and monthly financial results, including presentation of information to Senior Management.
  • Provides oversight for site compliance with all TMO Policies & Procedures, US GAAP requirements and local statutory requirements.
  • Develop a business partnership with functional leaders across the site to assist decision making and drive accountability.
  • Implement related general accounting and financial policies and procedures while adhering to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) practices, including internal and external audit management.
  • Provides and maintains key financial metrics; and reviews operating metrics to ensure goal and forecast achievement.
  • Directs the preparation of capital appropriations requests, new product development/growth initiatives and cost reduction projects.
  • Select, develop, retain, manage and direct employees in order to meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance is required; additionally, a MBA, M.A. in Finance, CPA or CMA is strongly preferred.
  • 7 years of relevant financial/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, possessing strong working knowledge of GAAP.
  • 5 years of proven leadership experience working within finance and accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in the use of accounting software applications, MPS/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Results oriented, metric driven leader that utilizes a collaborative problem solving approach to continuous improvement. (PPI, Lean and or Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and working experience a plus.)

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance is required.
  • 7 years of relevant financial/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, possessing strong working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Strong Analytical skills, proficient in the use of accounting software applications, MPS/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
