Following an internal move, this newly created opportunity is a great opportunity for someone to join the Analytical Instruments team but also work closely with our Technical Service team. Focusing on Renewals (existing customers) and looking after the AI Training Academy, you will need to be proactive, engaging and technically savvy to be successful in this role.


Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding service to the AI customers and sales team
  • Prepare pricing and contract information
  • Manage service contract pipeline for on time renewals
  • Prepare service contract documents and proposals
  • Work closely with service admin to ensure correct updating of the service system for contract entitlements
  • Ensure that training materials, equipment, catering and facilities are ready for customer training courses
  • Liaise with customers regarding course information and details
  • Update online booking system with training course information
  • Liaise with marketing team to provide material to promote the Analytical Training Academy

Requirements
  • Scientific qualifications preferred
  • Knowledge of Analytical Instrumentation preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
  • Capacity to work well across multiple functional areas
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to learn quickly, work independently and take responsibility to follow-up with customers and colleagues
  • Familiarity with computer basics (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet)
  • Experience with Astea Software and Salesforce Database are an advantage
  • Highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Operate well in a culture of process improvement, teamwork, and success
