Job Description

Account Manager responsible for developing the life science academics business in Singapore.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the life science academics business in Singapore
  • Develop new business with existing clients and implement value selling to meet/exceed sales goals/objectives
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting as well as competitive information
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, fosters competitive solutions to meet sales goals
  • Collaborate with various function teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Leverage available resources to effectively implement company sales and marketing strategies
  • Maintain intensity, persistence and continually strive to increase market share
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Qualifications / Education

  • 1 - 2 years experience in Sales position and/or Account Manager or relevant role
  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Well organized individual with ability to establish short and long-term business objectives and have a demonstrable record of measuring performance toward those objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
