Job Title: Product Marketing Specialist, Informatics and Chromatography Software
Location: Remote, USA, Canada and UK

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Specialist to join the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMD) team. In this division, we offer a complete range of high-end analytical instruments and software services that support Customers within the clinical diagnostic labs, pharmaceuticals, biotech and Industrial and environmental market segments. CMD has approximately $2.3B+ in revenue and 6400 employees across the Americas, Europe and Asia. This person will be involved in providing market insights, application understanding and sales messaging for specific market segments globally for our Informatics and Chromatography software portfolio.

Essential Skills:

  • Understand, document and share market and customer needs for defined market segments
  • Understand, document and share market and customer needs for routine LC-MS (single/triple quadrupole) applications
  • Understand market/customer dynamics to lead portfolio adjustments
  • Provide feedback to Product Managers and core team regarding key customer criteria for successful future product roadmap and feature enhancements
  • Develop competitive positio
Market and promote Chromeleon and the other elements of the Informatics and Chromatography Software (ICS) portfolio to internal and external customers:
  • Create value-add marketing collateral for defined market segments and application areas
  • Develop and deliver agreed sales tactics on time as defined in the annual marketing plan and the rolling Marcom planning calls
  • Be a marketing product expert/champion for sales & marketing, distribution channel, customers, and press, media and industry analysts
  • Develop and deliver sales and support trainings for product positioning and competitive analysis
  • Represent, show and promote Chromeleon and the other elements of the ICS portfolio to internal and external customers
Support commercial teams in their sales activities for Chromeleon and the other elements of the ICS portfolio:
  • Reply to written or phone requests for pre-sales support activities from the commercial team
  • Cooperate with sales support to drive training and product promotion
  • Conduct joint visits with the commercial team to key customers
  • Become a primary interface for the software sales and application specialists
  • Become a primary interface for the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry business
University degree in Analytics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar sciences OR minimum of eight years practical experience with CDS/LIMS/SDMS software operations

  • 5 or more years practical experience in (bio)pharma (preferable), chemical, environmental or food safety applications/markets
  • 3 or more years practical experience of using LC-MS for routine analyses
  • Detailed product knowledge on Chromatography software
  • Detailed product knowledge on LIMS or SDMS software an advantage
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Fluency in English language
