Position Summary:

The Sr. Director, OEM Sales, Americas, will provide leadership in executing OEM and Licensing sales strategy in North America in order to deliver the company’s revenue targets, optimize profitability, and strategically deploy customer-facing teams aligned with the company strategy. The person will also ensure that the team executes on the broad business imperatives by driving initiatives that are closely associated with global strategies, go-to-market directives, and customers’ and employees’ needs.

  • A strategic sales plan with key milestones in place
  • Achieve/exceed direct and indirect revenue plan for region and the overall Commercial organization
  • Maintain and grow OEM share across Americas
  • Collaborate closely with LCS Segment Teams in the development of commercial supply solutions for customers
  • Develop an aligned and focused North America sales team with clear accountability, ownership, and implementation of sales best practices
  • Create, implement, and develop a strong sales infrastructure inclusive of CRM, forecasting, business intelligence, and activity management
  • Participate in developing a detailed strategy for Top global accounts and top ten accounts by region
  • Point person to represent North America with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong relationships with customers, strategic partners, influencers and other working groups
  • Excellent relationships between Global Sales, Product Management, & Marketing
  • Predictable revenue quarters with strong year over year growth
  • Design and implement robust revenue forecasting process and gain compliance by all team members to adhere to this process
  • Collaborates closely with Licensing and Commercial Supply counterparts in other divisions in LSG and in other groups to unify offerings for customers.
Mimimum Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Life Sciences markets (i.e. life sciences research tools, human and animal diagnostics, vaccines, therapeutics, forensics, etc.) and diverse products and technologies, including but not limited molecular and cell biology, protein and cell analysis, antibodies, immunoassays, synthetic biology, etc.
  • Candidate will have a successful track record of managing and growing a sales organization The successful candidate will be a decisive business leader that will thrive in a fast-paced business culture
  • Candidate will have demonstrated outstanding leadership of commercial operations, including, but not limited to, commercial analytics and forecasting
  • Additionally, our successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities and develop aggressive and innovative sales strategies to capitalize on those opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Chemistry, biology or relevant science degree strongly preferred. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 5-7 years sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated capability to develop sales strategy and translate strategy into a tactical plan that achieves and drives top line growth
  • Proven sales experience in a complex field. Scientific experience required
  • Proven ability to operate in a truly global environment
