This position is directly responsible for supporting our internal Distribution and Logistics business partners. The key objective is to engage our business partners, facilitate their IT related requests and provide relevant solutions to key IT related business needs. This includes Level 2 support for Distribution related systems (Baan, Oracle Enterprise 9.0, SAP 4.7, Manhattan WMOS 2010, DSI dcLINK 7.7, QAD Precision v9).


  • Manage enhancements and small project delivery
  • Participate in Practical Process Improvement Kaizen events to provide input on Logistics related IT systems and processes
  • Conduct and/or participate in requirements gathering and design workshops
  • Document business requirements and business process flows
  • Partner with system analysts on technical design and coordinate development work with development teams
  • Configure Baan, E1, Precision Trax, SAP and WMS systems to meet business requirements
  • Develop SCI (Cognos) reports using SQL and business model
  • Create and execute test scripts, capture defects, verify fixes and report updates
  • Coordinate and perform functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing
  • Triage support tickets and follow up with end users
  • Coordination of enhancements requiring offshore development, including handoff calls
  • Coordination of changes requiring infrastructure team involvement
  • Configuration and support of pack station equipment and RF scanners
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify problems and develop practical solutions
  • Develop change and release documentation
  • Support change management processes
  • Document release notes and develop training materials
  • Partner with business to analyze and recommend process improvements
  • Train business users on new system functionality and/or process changes
  • Contribute to knowledge repository
  • Mentor junior resources
