Job Description

    As part of the Cell Biology Commercial leadership team, the Sr. Manager, Project Management will work to translate strategic direction into a series of actionable, measurable targets to achieve both short-term and long-term goals and objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establishes project management KPIs with support of additional stakeholders for shared goals.
    • Establishes and promotes industry-recognized, best-in-class project management and customer experience standards. Ensures the global processes, tools, and people are aligned to the Cell Biology BU strategy.
    • Develops project management capabilities through training, coaching, and group and individual meetings/discussions. Provides input on the selection and implementation of tools to support Project Management processes.
    • Utilizes effective project, business process and team management skill sets to achieve business results.
    • Utilizes all aspects of the PPI business system to improve metrics, processes, and customer experience.
    • Engages in special projects that require project management skill set to support business objectives.
    • Interacts and builds effective relationships with core and extended team members, functional managers, senior management, and customers.
    • Works on complex, multi-faceted problems where analysis may require in depth analysis.


    Requirements/Education:

    • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
    • Self-managing and self-motivating, able to prioritize tasks effectively and meet customer deadlines and expectations
    • Ability to work without significant direction
    • Able to influence others or gain acceptance in sensitive situations.
    • Develops and delivers presentations to large groups including Leadership
    • 10 or more years’ combined product development and project management experience, of which a portion must be in the life sciences
    • 4 or more years’ experience managing people
    • Bachelor's degree (B. S. or B.A.), preferred in the Life Sciences, from four-year college or university
