Job Description

The Thermo Fisher Scientific HPLC business has been setting decisive and innovative trends for many years in the development, manufacturing and marketing of instruments and software for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography. The expertise of our highly qualified staff contributes significantly to our economic success, enabling us to continuously expand our site in Germering near Munich.

We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist (m/f) - fixed term contract (18 months) as parental leave replacement to join our Human Resources team at our Germering-Munich site.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver operational HR support to the business and employees in an effective and efficient manner
  • HR Analysis & reporting for HR as well as cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain Time management system
  • Drive BEM/Health integration Management with close collaboration with all stakeholders as employees, managers and works council, provide recommendations for resolution and drive implementation; ensure documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in Health & Safety audits in liaison with local safety officer, document as appropriate
  • Support Apprentice & Dual Studies Program as well as “Intern program” to attract talent for the organization
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, instruments, procedures, in line with the Quality Management System as ISO, Corporate and Country guidelines and harmonization requirements ( i.e. set-up of training plans in the Thermo Fisher University in collaboration with different departments, TFU coordination, training records)
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations for resolution and drive implementation
  • Support D&I and CSR initiatives
  • Participate in HR and cross-functional projects to drive and support continuous improvement for the betterment of the organization
  • Other HR tasks assigned ( i.e. Reference letters, Drive recruitment and hiring efforts within established guidelines through the whole recruiting life-cycle in close collaboration with our Talent Acquisition (TA) Team incl following actions as contract and works council hearings preparations as well as entries in the HR Information System SAP/HR to ensure data integrity)
Your Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree from an University (of Applied Sciences) with specialization in Human Resources
  • First experiences in Human Resources with multi-national company.
  • Knowledge of employment law, employee relations and recruitment.
  • Fluency in German and very good English skills
  • Experience with SAP/HR, TFU and the Human Capital Management system, Workday, would be an advantage
