Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily import and export operations in CDC to be in conformance with customs laws, regulations and policies
  • Manage freight forwarders, brokers and other vendors to drive timely and cost effective customs clearance
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers to handle special cases and to solve issues
  • Take daily accountability of operations performance and CAPA
  • Control operating cost related to import/export operations within AOP
  • Manage vendor’s performance and payment to keep business stable and consistent
  • Government authorities relationship building and maintenance
  • Seek opportunities for cost saving and operational excellence
  • Work with team to achieve department goals and objectives

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in logistics, supply chain, International trade, or related areas.

Experience Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' relevant working experience in MNC, above 3 years managerial experience
  • Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP
  • Hands on knowledge of import/export process for WGQ operation
  • Strong knowledge of permit/certificate requirement for medical device/ lab equipment and parts import/export handling
  • Supply Chain knowledge is a plus (Purchasing, Planning, Intl’ Transportation…)
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Good at data analysis
  • Good computer skills, especially with Excel spreadsheet
  • Proactive, team player, and willing to learn and take extra responsibility

Preference:

  • Experience in life science/medical device/biotech/pharmacy industries
  • Near WGQ
  • Had project manager experience
