For the nearest possible date we are looking for a


R&D Engineer Systems / Applications m/f


Your responsibilities:
  • Further development / enhancement of concepts and systems for detection and characterization of ionizing radiation
  • Prototyping and in depth verification of performance against functional specifications
  • Execution and review of application tests according international standards (IEC, ANSI)
  • Transition of new product developments into volume production
  • Adaptation of existing products to new market specific requirements
  • Responsible for content and integrity of project and product documentation
  • Creation of customer requirement and technical specifications in cooperation with Marketing and Sales
  • Cross functional collaboration in new product development projects according ISO 9001
  • Support Operations / Manufacturing through thorough analysis of product performance and calibration data
  • Support handling of customer complaints and product change requests
  • Contact to customers, suppliers and external partners

Your qualifications:
  • MSc in electrical engineering, physics or related field
  • >5 years professional experience in metrology, preferably measurement of ionizing radiation
  • Solid experience with data bases, preferably SQL
  • Independent “can do” work attitude, flexibility and team spirit
  • Excellent English skills (both written and oral)
