Job Description
Sales Development Representative
Based in Seoul, Korea

Job Summary
This position reports to the sales manager, IDD South Korea operations. The scope of this position is to provide sales work to IDD customers and cooperation with marketing team internally to support customers nationwide. And also this includes responsibility for sales tasks which require planning, judgment and settlement of coordination problems varying in scope and complexity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and applicable laws
  • Performs sales duties for direct sales accounts and product delivery
  • Executes co-marketing activities with commercial clinical laboratories customer.
  • Responsible for direct sales by finding potentials and opportunities in diagnostics market.
  • Achieves sales targets for the assigned accounts.
  • Functions as a business person, aware of and responsible to the conditions that affect the business. These conditions include knowledge of competition – their products, pricing, procedures and personnel; of customers – their organizations, procedures and key persons.
  • Identifies customers’ requirements, communicates with Marketing Team to solve these requirements and communicates on solution with customers.
  • Implements a marketing & sales plan, including analysis of market segmentation & market entry and expansion strategies and local tactical plans.
  • To be a product expert for the Immuno Diagnostic product portfolio to bring key product knowledge to the field.
  • Works with the marketing staffs to build up strong and consistent customer support in order to meet customer’s needs.
  • Integrates work flows with promotional customer education and other programs to drive commercial growth.
  • Conducts product/application training for customers and dealers.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required, clinical technology background preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IVD business or clinical market.
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
