What Will You Do?

This is an integral part of the supply planning business that is responsible for planning all aspects of production using the ERP Integrated Database. In this role, you will have oversight for Supply Planning and Demand Planning for our products to help us meet critical on-time delivery targets, and acheive customer service goals, while optimizing our inventory investment, and maximize production efficiency. You will utiilize your experience and skills to complete complex analysis of data to determine the most cost effective, optimal production schedule that Manufacturing can successfully execute to, in addition to inventory analysis, projections and control. You will help ensure that the MRP master data parameters are maintained for new product transfers as well as established products, implement material master changes, BOM's and PCO's into production, and analyze trends in demand, to recalucalte orders. We are collaborative in our work so you will partner with Demand Planning, Customer Service, R&D, PMO, QC/QA, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Logistics for project and root cause analysis and resolution and to ensure ISO and QSR compliance. Finallly, you will be seen as a strong partner and take the leadership role for the Planning Manager on occassion.

How Will You Get There?

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • APICS certification is preferred
  • 6 - 10 years of planning, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory or combined experience is required
  • QAD/SAP experience is preferred
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Experience with MRP replenishment process and level loading planning a plus
  • Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills and excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Abiility to manage multiple projects and initiatives and while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years working with ERP systems
