We are looking for new talent to join the Chromatography Consumables Marketing Team. This is a global role, in a transformative team where your will contribute to the translation of business strategy into relevant and compelling marketing campaigns that create customer value, revenue and growth.

You should have some marketing experience gained in the execution of campaigns across both inbound and outbound marketing channels. You should also be comfortable crafting messaging for a variety of channels (including social) to target diverse customer groups. You’re at ease measuring campaigns and making recommendations to improve performance – always with growth/revenue objectives in mind.
Are you the person we are looking for?
You’ll demonstrate reasonable knowledge of marketing channels (both inbound and outbound) and their appropriate utilization to target the right customer groups.
You’ll have demonstrable experience in creating engagement on social media and managing communities.
You’ll be able to position our products and solutions and develops market specific value propositions independently and develop multi-channel campaigns - and content - from scratch.
You’re comfortable influencing channel utilization, segmentation and messaging as well as assessing campaign performance with data.
You’ll be very familiar with taking corrective action when things aren’t going to plan, and you’ll be able to clearly demonstrate how your campaigns contribute to business objectives.
You’ll be comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior business leaders
You’ll analyse the competitive situation for our market segment to identify gaps and opportunities for our products and solutions
You’re proactive, driven and you want a career in marketing
This position will require the use and development in skills to:
Analyze our chromatography consumables business to identify new growth opportunities
Use VOC to identify unmet customer needs
Develop compelling content for marketing messaging and campaigns
Develop position and promotional materials for the Commercial team
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
Plan, develop, organize, write and edit manuals, application notes, web content, brochures and other product and marketing collateral as required for both electronic and hard copy formats
Maintain up to date knowledge of technical terms, trends in application relevant language and technologies.
Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content in line with Thermo Scientific brand guidelines
Manage updates and revisions to technical and marketing literature
Work with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Marketing teams and Regional Sales teams to understand product features, value propositions, customer needs and applications.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in physical or life science, chemistry or engineering discipline.
Proven experience with Chromatography preferable
Demonstrated confidence in written, interpersonal and oral communication is essential
Ability to understand technology and articulate strong customer value/benefit propositions is critical.
Strong computer skills in office applications (e.g., MS Word) and presentation tools (e.g., MS PowerPoint), are critical.
Strong attention to detail
Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
