For our location in Allschwil/Basel we are looking for a

Team Leader Customer Service (Offertwesen/Quoting)

The Team Leader has leadership responsibilities and is accountable for actions of the project managers and project support associates. He/She works closely with the project management & sales team to ensure timely delivery of clinical supplies project quotes for packaging and distribution services. He/She establishes and implements appropriate processes to support productivity enhancements. While the team leader will not have day-to-day project management accountability for a project(s), he/she will have portfolio oversight of his/her teams client and quote/opportunity base to ensure client expectations are being met and Fisher Clinical Services is delivering consistently across clients

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develops, mentors and evaluates (PMDs) Project Managers, Associate Project Managers and Project Support Associates
  • Manages the portfolio of project quotes and clients handled by the quoting PM team and Sales and is responsible for the accurate and consistent execution of customer project quotes for own assigned customers as well as all new customers
  • Provides support for customer issues related to RFQs (request for quotes)/ Quotes and for which PMs, APMs and Sales BDs are responsible when those parties determine the issues must be escalated
  • Analyzes and tracks opportunity and quote data and provides appropriate KPIs in order to manage the team. Manages opportunities and quotes in close collaboration with Project Management and Sales
  • Supports the department head and peers at FCS affiliates with price calculations and price list management
  • Identifies, develops and implements process improvement to improve overall efficiency and productivity of the quoting PM team

  • Accredited college/ university or recognized professional degree (health/ science related field, alternatively economic science)
  • 3-5 years of experience leading a customer service team
  • 2-3 years of experience with quote generation in a complex, small batch series related service offering environment is a plus
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical/ R&D field OR experience in a financial/ economical field with relation to quotation management
  • Proven experience with customers in a dynamic environment
  • Certification in Project Management (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills and project co-ordination skills
  • Fluent English language skills, German preferred
