Brooke Stambersky

Sr. Project Manager, Quality & Regulatory
Asheville, NC

Brooke joined the LED Cold Storage group six years ago in the R&D team as a Project Manager.

“Within this role, I led global cross functional teams in new product development and engineering projects from design concept to production implementation. My early work experience began while I was in college for my Bachelor’s degree, where I worked within the automotive industry as a engineering intern for several years, which was a great foundation for my engineering career after college. My career within the automotive industry has been widespread, I have had the opportunity to hold various engineering roles, such as a robotics engineer, process & manufacturing engineering, and quality and project engineer. Within the last six years, in addition to working with the R&D team, I also had the opportunity to work as a Project Manager for the Global Sourcing team, managing sourcing projects for LED sites within North America. Six months ago, I accepted a new Project Management role within the Corporate Quality and Regulatory team. I am very excited about my new role, and have enjoyed learning and working with the global teams.”

Communication, honesty & integrity, inspiring others, commitment & passion, and accountability.

“Delegation challenged me early in my career because it was not uncommon for me to assume responsibility for multiple tasks. Being a project manager has assisted me in learning how to delegate. I have learned how to determine the correct tasks to delegate, and how to Identify the right people to delegate tasks too.”

"Be strong, patient, and brave. Set dreams and goals for yourself, whether it’s academically, professionally or personally. Always strive to be the best person you can be! Be open to learning about yourself and others. Challenge yourself by stepping into an environment that makes you feel uncomfortable; what you learn from this experience will allow you to grow.”

Persistence, Authenticity, Believe in Yourself, Emotional Intelligence, Know when to ask for help.
