Kathleen joined the company two years ago as Senior IT Director in Customer Channels. “Throughout my career, I have focused on learning and actively seeking out opportunities to grow. Through taking on a variety of assignments and roles, I have been able to broaden my technical and business knowledge, giving me a more well-rounded viewpoint. Along with strong family support, I have had numerous informal mentors throughout my career that have pushed me out of my comfort zone and challenged me.”


“I am naturally positive, optimistic, driven and persistent. I believe that we can do anything that we set our minds to do. I am also a quote person with one of my favorites being, "When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal, you do not change your decision to get there.“


“I am regularly challenged by how best to communicate technology investments to executive leadership. To effectively understand implications and convey the message of why an investment is important, I seek out input from others before giving executive presentations. Feedback from my business and technology partners has been very helpful to provide me additional perspectives.”


“While relocating has been a sacrifice, my family and I have approached these assignments as opportunities for growth, both for our family and for myself professionally. Various employment opportunities have allowed us to live in different states and countries, helping us appreciate different lifestyles and build a greater global perspective. My children are wonderful international travelers. I also enjoy opportunities to get involved beyond my primary work role. I feel extremely rewarded when "paying it forward," whether by being part of Employee Resource Groups at work or non-profit organizations in our community. It helps me feel refreshed while expanding my perspective and making new friends.”

In addition, always be true and authentic to yourself; you cannot be an effective leader when trying to be someone else.”
