We are passionate about data and technical agility to drive enhanced value for our customers and patients. Determined to improve patient health, we provide statistics, programming and clinical pharmacology expertise through global delivery, consistent quality adherence and scientific insight. Through a procedural framework based on robust planning and specifications, we deliver clinical trial planning and development programs, results of a study and lead the regulatory submissions.
What our team offers:
Clinical data focus and quality
We incorporate Six Sigma process optimizations to bend the time and cost curve as we plan, analyze, report and submit study data. We ensure analysis quality and on-time delivery by using a computational platform that supports complete traceability, version control and speed. Integrity-based decisions drive the actions of every colleague, from project study leads to executive management.
Collaboration and learning
Our culture encourages colleagues to share and to expand their knowledge in the pursuit of serving science. This includes access to training, learning from other experts in the field and applying learned skills across stages of a study. For example, programmers take a step beyond writing code; they interpret the data in the context of the study protocol and statistical analysis plan, leading to writing and reviewing programming specifications.
Through project leadership and planning, we earn and maintain our customers’ trust. Our biostatisticians, programmers and pharmacokineticists bring new therapies to market through partnership and knowledge of clinical trial operations and therapy development. We take the time to understand our customers’ challenges and convey solutions to those challenges.
Accomplishment and purpose
Solving some of the world's toughest challenges is why our colleagues come to work each day. It's what brings us together and empowers us to advance science. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, your skills can directly impact bringing new therapies to market, improving patient health.

“I joined the company in 2016 as an Associate Programmer Analyst, shortly after finishing my degree. I was promoted in my role as a Statistical Programmer, and then made the jump to a Biostatistician role after a few years. I have grown a lot since joining Thermo Fisher Scientific. While I started a new career track as a Biostatistician, the two tracks complement one another. This makes me appreciate what the different roles do daily.”
Meiling, Biostatistician, North Carolina
“Every colleague is treated equally here, and there are a lot of opportunities to grow professionally. I can truly say that I have never stopped learning here and the opportunities are endless. Thermo Fisher Scientific has best-in-class tools and systems, which makes daily work efficient and easy.”
Biplob, Senior Manager, Biostatistics and Programming, Hyderabad, India
"I provide statistical support to health economics and outcome research (HEOR) across a range of projects, customers and therapeutic areas. Part of what I love most about my job here at Thermo Fisher Scientific is the collaborative team atmosphere and the great people. I am so happy to be part of this team and I am excited to continue the amazing work we do!"
"When I started, I was a Biostatistician in charge of writing statistical analysis plans. I discovered that I really enjoyed the programming side more, so I had the opportunity to move over into the Programming team. It was great that I had that flexibility. Now with my team, we talk about their career development and I make sure they get assignments that support their plans."

slide 8 of 8 Working in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), I help departments run more efficiently. I do this by teaching new tools and helping teams implement new approaches to their processes. This role is rewarding in that it allows me to interact with all departments on site and learn about all the amazing work going on at Thermo Fisher Scientific. One of the best aspects of my job is working at a company with such a large product portfolio. There’s a wealth of resources within the company, which allows for greater growth potential—both in product development and career paths. At the end of the day, my work helps our departments. This allows for greater quality products, at more affordable prices, with shorter lead times—all of which increases accessibility to customers and helps make the world a healthier, cleaner and safer place.
