I have always wanted to learn how things work. In Technical roles at Thermo Fisher we learn, we practice, we diagnose, we even create, by influencing product design. The instruments I work on are sophisticated technologies that help screen prohibited chemicals in food, improve drug testing in sports and ensure the quality of pharmaceutical products.
At Thermo Fisher, I also help others learn. I currently run training courses for new engineers every year. In my personal life, I even have my 7 year old son interested in mass spectrometers so that he understands how they can help improve lives.
