WE'RE CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
Women colleagues across Thermo Fisher Scientific come together to lead, drive and support our Women’s Employee Resource Group (WERG) on a global scale. All year long, as well as on International Women’s Day (IWD) (officially recognized March 8) and during Women’s History Month, the WERG focuses its efforts on demonstrating solidarity and support for gender equality as well as advancing and recognizing women’s achievements. Below we highlight the ways in which some of our WERG members are embracing this year’s theme, #EachforEqual, on a personal or professional level.
“I've been very fortunate to have had great mentors, colleagues and individuals, men and women alike, who took time to invest in me and support my career journey. And for that, I am incredibly passionate about supporting women to be the absolute best that they can be and dedicated to doing what I can to support others in their career development, championing women's causes and celebrating others for their successes and achievements. At Thermo Fisher Scientific we firmly believe that in working together, we can drive change and have an impact on society, helping to create a gender equal world for ourselves and for future generations.”
