Our Clinical Research team, who powers our PPD® clinical research portfolio, are part of our leading global contract research organization (CRO). We provide comprehensive, integrated drug development, laboratory and lifecycle management services. Our customers include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, academic and government organizations. With our global presence, we have conducted clinical trials in more than 100 countries to help customers deliver life-changing therapies to improve health. We apply innovative technologies, therapeutic expertise and a firm commitment to quality to optimize costs and the time-curve of drug development.

Career areas

Clinical Data Management

Our Clinical Data Management team oversees the data collected in a clinical trial. This work spans the design and build of the database, edit checks, entry and cleaning of data and final delivery of clinical trial data. We work closely with the project teams on a variety of projects and therapeutic areas, directly working with customers, to identify best practices and processes.

Clinical Monitoring & Operations

Our Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), Assistant Clinical Research Associates (ACRAs), Clinical Trial Coordinators (CTCs) and customer-dedicated teams oversee the protocols and efficacy of treatments during trials. We support the logistics and organization of clinical sites — ensuring that patients receive needed care, as well as identifying and treating clinical trial participants.

Pharmacovigilance
Our Pharmacovigilance team manages drug safety in clinical trials, overseeing case-processing and regulatory reporting. You'll gain comprehensive trial experience, enhancing your knowledge through all drug development stages, including service management.
Project Delivery
Our Project Delivery team manages clinical trial projects, ensuring successful completion by coordinating technical and operational aspects. You'll work globally, gaining cross-cultural experience across diverse therapeutic areas, including oncology and infectious diseases.

Clinician to CRA Program

 The Clinician to CRA program recruits cohorts of colleagues who learn together in a collaborative and organized environment through a seven-week curriculum that provides experienced clinicians with the training and support they need to transition successfully into the clinical research associate (CRA) level II position. Training materials are tailored to role-specific objectives that help set program graduates up for success.
