Labware and Specialty Plastics

Working in the New Product Development (NPD) Engineering department of our Labware and Specialty Plastics Business unit, you’ll help select the manufacturing equipment and develop the process settings to produce our blow molded containers. On our team, you can help us bring new technology and engineering methods to a growing business.

One of the unique aspects of our blow mold design and development in our engineering department is that we provide a wide range of plastic materials, sizes and container types. That means as an engineer here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn a wide range of technologies. And the cross-functional nature of NPD teams makes for a collaborative environment.

Here, you’ll be able to focus on the most interesting engineering tasks. Unlike many other plastic manufacturing companies where the NPD group is also responsible for day-to-day manufacturing operations, we have a separate manufacturing engineering group that takes on these daily functions. We want you to be able to focus on what you love to do and do best.

We offer both a technical career ladder and management career ladder in engineering, so you can build your career by taking on progressively more challenging technical roles, or move into areas like project management or functional management without leaving engineering.
