Our IT Center of Excellence (ITCOE) in Tijuana is part of Thermo Fisher’s world-class, global software engineering team. The work IT professionals do at the Tijuana site is cutting edge - using the latest technology to develop software and cloud applications that help scientists find cures for diseases such as cancer.

Since the establishment of the center in 2015, our Tijuana team has become an integral part of our global technology offering. Over the next two years, the center will be experiencing large-scale growth due to our plans to double its size and house over 200 software developers. Our growth strategy, size and scale provide abundant opportunities for personal growth and career development for our employees.

As a Product Owner III, my work helps connect the scientific community to our innovative solutions and instruments, accelerating our digital transformation. I’m responsible for helping to transfer chromatography analysis software to the cloud as a Data Scientist at the IT Center of Excellence in Tijuana. The Tijuana IT CoE has a great fraternal atmosphere that you feel as soon as you pass through the door. In my role, I ensure our customers have a great experience in our e-commerce platforms.
