In the Netherlands, we operate across 11 locations and have over 2,400+ colleagues, which is our third largest location in EMEA. We feature sites in Bleiswijk, Lelystad, Leiden, Naarden, Tilburg, Breda, Landsmeer, Ochten, Utrecht, Groningen and remote locations. Our largest site is in Eindhoven. Given the size and scope of our presence in the Netherlands, it is not surprising that we have developed strong and enduring relationships with a wide array of customers from hospitals, universities, healthcare companies and life science / research organizations as well governmental entities.

Bleiswijk
Our European Distribution Center located in Bleiswijk is ideally located close to large international transport hubs (Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam Harbor). We have been proudly serving the life sciences industry for over 40 years. Our colleagues contribute to our Mission and make a difference every day by managing the global shipment of COVID-19 test kits, supporting customers with cancer research products and more! The Bleiswijk site is also our Centers of Excellence for: Warehousing, Life Sciences, Businesses 
Sales, Service and Scientific Support, IT, HR & EHS, Finance, Trade Compliance & Transportation our Calibration Center and Quality Our 200+ warehouse colleagues proudly pack and ship over 5,000 orders per day that are used globally by our customers to support patient diagnosis, researchers, and the biotech and pharma industry globally.

Breda
Our site in Breda is located in the south of the Netherlands. At this site, we support our customers in Benelux while contributing to our Mission – to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Thermo Fisher Breda is the host office for our Sales and Service colleagues for a large part of the instrumentation teams at Thermo Fisher Scientific.  With over 250 Sales and Service professionals spread across the Benelux, we proudly support hundreds of customers in the region. Out of the Breda office we sell, deliver, install and maintain instruments in a wide scale of laboratories and industrial environments. Our varying customer base ranges from University hospitals, to water laboratories, food production plants and more.
Groningen
Our Groningen site is a multi-product and multi-client biopharmaceutical site with development and manufacturing facilities for pharmaceutical products for clinical trials (phases 1, 2 and 3) and commercial production. With 250 colleagues, the internationally orientated site specializes in cGMP for (pre)clinical and commercial manufacturing, including mammalian cell culture manufacturing, scale-up and cGMP manufacturing of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies. Our Groningen team is part of our global network of biologics sites which also includes Princeton, New Jersey, St. Louis Missouri, and Brisbane, Australia. 
Landsmeer and Ochten
Landsmeer and Ochten
Our office in Landsmeer is home to over 100 colleagues that deliver goods and services and fulfil our Mission – to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Our colleagues at this site work in Customer Service, Transportation & Distribution, and Sales & Finance, supporting our customers in the Netherlands as well as several other countries in the EMEA region. We empower those who diagnose against the clock, around the clock, research against the odds, and uncover the incredible. We are proud to offer them uncompromised quality and impeccable service, with the drive to accelerate innovation, enhance productivity and help shape the future. Our instruments, equipment, software, services and consumables address a range of needs from sample, material characterization and chemical analysis to clinical diagnoses and biological-based therapeutics manufacturing.  
Leiden and Naarden
Our sites in Leiden and Naarden have a long history in the use and production of single-domain antibodies in yeast. Thermo Fisher Leiden/Naarden team discovers and manufactures high-performance purification resins based on the Captureselect, antibody platform. The high-performance purification resins are discovered in our Leiden R&D centre and manufactured in our high-tech bio-manufacturing facility in Naarden by over 50 molecular biologists, biochemists, biotech engineers and QC/QA colleagues working in multidisciplinary teams.  Our products are used by biopharmaceutical companies for their manufacturing. In research, we enable the discovery of new life-saving drugs, while in manufacturing our products ensure a high purity, cost effective manufacturing process for new biopharmaceutical modalities. 
Lelystad
Our Lelystad facility represents our Animal Health portfolio within Thermo Fisher, producing a wide range of veterinary diagnostic products. Our products are sold and delivered directly to customers through Thermo Fisher Scientific or our distribution partners. We have proudly been part of Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2014. We have a 20+ year history and legacy in ELISA kit manufacturing and are the market leader in the worldwide supply of the Tuberculin PPD. We currently employ 34 highly skilled and culturally diverse people, with 7 different nationalities present on site.  We manufacture a wide range of veterinary and food safety diagnostic kits, such as kits for Foot and Mouth disease, Classical swine fever, Salmonella, etc. In terms of the ELISA process, we procure raw materials and components before manufacturing the various animal health diagnostic test kits. There are several laboratories on site where we can test the products before being released by Quality Assurance. Finished products are then shipped to the European Distribution Center in Bleiswijk from where they will be distributed to our customers around the world. Tuberculin PPD products are shipped directly from Lelystad to our customers around the world.

Our Eindhoven site is located in the HighTech region of BrainPort with a long history and legacy of over 70 years in the Electron Microscopy space. In Eindhoven, we design, manufacture and supports high-performance electron microscopy workflows that provide images and information at micro-, nano- and picometer scales. Through our industry-leading offerings, our Eindhoven site enables customers across life sciences and materials science markets to make breakthrough discoveries and increase productivity. With breakthrough innovation in our DNA our technology has been used by several Nobel Laurette winners in their award-winning research. Eindhoven is our primary technology location for the Transmission Electron Microscopy platform. Utrecht
As a global leader in allergy and autoimmune disease diagnostics, we are committed to providing accurate, clinically relevant testing solutions to aid in the proper disease diagnosis and patient management. Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer and our 13 colleagues in covering Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Technical Service, and Customer Service in Utrecht service over 70 customers throughout the country. Our core customers are Dutch hospital laboratories and GP laboratories (immunology and clinical chemistry). In all of these labs, you will find one of our Phadia Laboratory Systems, where the assays for allergy and autoimmunity are performed. 
Tilburg
Our Tilburg Patheon Softgels B.V., part of Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2017, is your go-to partner for softgels OTC & Rx in development and production. Our clients are small research or large pharmaceutical companies. We offer full service to our clients to obtain all approvals to produce on a commercial level and offer commercial manufacturing under cGMP conditions with speed, efficiency and exceptional quality.
