About the Role:

The Sales Support team enables the ANZ commercial sales team by providing first point-of-contact resolution to enquiries, delivering timely and accurate responses directly to customers or back to the team.

Using a queue management tool in Salesforce.com you will be responsible for ensuring that processes are optimised, and bottlenecks are removed to allow Thermo Fisher Scientific to excel in customer responsiveness

What You'll Do:

  • Support and enable ANZ commercial team and customers by providing central assistance for issues beyond an order transaction.
  • Engage cross functionally to resolve and close customer issues (AR, supply chain/distribution, service, customer care).
  • Actively engage with sales and customers to deliver improved Cx and TAT
  • Organize and schedule equipment dispatch with proactive customer communication
  • Facilitate the ‘goods on Approval’ and demonstration processes and maintain accurate records on Masterpack (ERP) and Salesforce.com (CRM) to ensure compliance.
  • Engage on Sales Quotations preparation ranging from simple to complex.  Utilise product databases and supplier catalogues to cross reference products to meeting customer quoting requirements.  Engage with portfolio teams and subject matter experts where required.
  • Manage account enquiries including new account setup, freight terms analysis and consistency across Masterpack and E1.
  • Upload and amend price agreements (E1) 
  • Assist commercial team with internal and customer-facing report generation.
  • Utilise Salesforce.com for recording of sales support activity.
  • Adapt and take on additional tasks and responsibilities to meet evolving business needs.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Science degree and or related experience

Experience

  • Previous sales or customer service experience

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to think outside the square
  • Able to handle fast paced environment and work to tight deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with ability to establish relationships with internal & external customers and staff to achieve results
  • Ability to handle pressure and achieve desired outcomes
  • Excellent digital literacy included in Microsoft Office, the ability to learn new concepts and packages as required by the position
