Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD) of Thermo Fisher Scientific is charged with selling and servicing Thermo Fisher Scientific products in geographical territories worldwide. The MSD Organization serves as the primary Thermo Fisher Scientific contact to both potential customers and current customers alike, providing a range of valuable products and services and maintaining the highest levels of customer happiness.

Position Location: Giheung-Ku/Yongin-Si

Provide post sales customer support such as installation, customer training, on-site repair, preventative maintenance, remote support or technical consultation to ensure customer purchased Thermo Fisher products meet factory standards and customer expectations, thus achieve and strengthen customer satisfaction and allegiance to Thermo Fisher Scientific.

*This position is the evergreen talent pool (상시 모집 포지션) for 1st half 2025. Applicants for this position will have priority to have interviews on regular positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to support MSD products involving: installations, customer trainings, on-site diagnostics & repair services, preventative maintenance, application methodology delivery.
  • Provide remote technical assistance, consultation to customers.
  • Accurately document field service activities, including installation reports, repair reports, preventative maintenance reports, and timely submit through the required system.
  • Follow DOA and Hot Account procedures to report issues to related functions, and collaborate to solve.
  • Implement key account strategies for high profile customers and maintain good relationship with industry opinion leaders.
  • Share experience and methodology of product services and applications with colleagues. Help improving team support capacity.
  • Actively participate PPI projects to keep optimizing work quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Needs to have Korean citizenship or working VISA. Company can't sponsor VISA acquisition.
  • BS degree or above in physics, engineering. Candidates majored in mechatronics, electric engineering and relevant major will be highly preferred.
  • 1+ year or above working & operation experience of equipment engineering, candidates experiencing semi-conductor or science fields will be preferred.
  • Have the ability to work independently, have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with both English and Korean.
