As a Marketing Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific Immunodiagnostics, you will have the unique opportunity to work on inspiring marketing programs that drive our customer value, revenue, and growth. You will be part of our EU Marketing Team, collaborating with multiple EU-based colleagues to shape and deliver top-priority marketing programs while ensuring smooth marketing operations and return on investment.

Although the role is based in our offices, remote work is possible due to team members located across Europe. This necessitates virtual meetings and constant communication. We prioritize mutual support and learning from customers, colleagues, and healthcare settings to make a significant difference in the lives of millions of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including handling campaign plans, events, budget and operations tasks.

  • Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials with the use of digital software

  • Assist in organising and coordinating marketing events, both internally and externally like requirements for conferences, events or client meetings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow (eg MarCom, procurement, finance).

  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of marketing budgets and expenses.

  • · Handle administrations and systems such as marketing operations software (Workfront), purchase order processing (COUPA).

  • Collaborate with external suppliers, agencies, and publishers

  • Provide detailed reports on marketing projects

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

We are seeking an exceptional organizer who possesses a keen attention to detail, along with a strong understanding of processes and systems. We value individuals who actively listen, observe, and are open to learning by doing, while also being comfortable seeking assistance when necessary. We recognize the importance of a diverse team that incorporates a range of ages, experiences, backgrounds, education, and neurodiversity or equivalent experience. Our comprehensive in-house educational programs, mentoring, and support are designed to empower you to thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management, marketing, and/or a life science field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a marketing environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

  • Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Willingness to learn, be mentored, and continuously improve

  • Fluency in English and preferably another EU language

Requirements:

  • Excellent collaboration and team player

  • Strong desire to pursue a career in Marketing

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • Hybrid &/or remote working.

  • Effectively manage tasks, adhering to established timelines

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Eligibility to work in the country where the role is based
