"I have felt very supported within the company. Anything that I have asked to try professionally has been accepted. There have been huge, broad learning experiences. The only thing you have to do is go search for growth opportunities within the company. I absolutely love this company."
Elizabeth, Medical Information Associate

“My combined experience as a floor Nurse and as an Education Director helped me quickly adapt to a role in the Medical Communications team. Reacting quickly to patient conditions or to students’ needs helped me develop the skills I needed to thrive in the ever-changing world of Medical Communications! I love that being a Medical Information Specialist - Nurse means that I must continuously adapt and face new challenges; it keeps me sharp and on my toes! I love the opportunities to learn and to mentor others. Also, I must say that I particularly enjoy being able to work from home!”
Vanessa, Medical Information Specialist - Nurse, Montreal, Canada

“From the initial interactions with talent acquisition and operations leaders, I immediately felt attached to the company and its values. Almost 5 years later, I am certain this was the right choice for me.
The most fulfilling part of my role is interacting with people. It is my belief that every interaction is mutual learning and development. Running operations as Associate Directоr is a continuous “give and take” cycle which requires, amongst many other practical skills and competences – commitment and passion for excellence.”
Gergana, Associate Director Operations, Medical Communications | Sofia, Bulgaria
slide 8 of 8 Working in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), I help departments run more efficiently. I do this by teaching new tools and helping teams implement new approaches to their processes. This role is rewarding in that it allows me to interact with all departments on site and learn about all the amazing work going on at Thermo Fisher Scientific. One of the best aspects of my job is working at a company with such a large product portfolio. There’s a wealth of resources within the company, which allows for greater growth potential—both in product development and career paths. At the end of the day, my work helps our departments. This allows for greater quality products, at more affordable prices, with shorter lead times—all of which increases accessibility to customers and helps make the world a healthier, cleaner and safer place. Sheri, PPI Business System Specialist III
