Our D&I Journey

Our focus on diversity and inclusion considers all dimensions of diversity and the intersectionality of those dimensions. With the support of our business resource groups, we work to amplify inclusion across gender, race, ethnicity and generations, regardless of one’s sexual orientation, disability or military status.


Fostering an atmosphere of belonging and inclusion requires us to develop focused strategies informed by data and tailored to the needs of individual groups. We are proud to partner with organizations focused on building diversity in engineering, technology, science and business. To further inform and support our talent engagement, we build partnerships with diversity-focused organizations to recruit top talent from underrepresented groups. These relationships enable us to fulfill our Mission and our commitment to fostering positive change internally and externally. 

Belonging


Belonging Week provides the opportunity to reinforce how we fulfill our Mission and make a difference when we work together as one team and company. In 2023, a series of on-site and virtual events—from panel discussions and workshops to larger town halls—created venues for our teams to build their internal professional networks and discover the many resources and pathways for supporting their career growth at Thermo Fisher. A special highlight from Belonging Week 2023 was the involvement of key customers who reflected on the shared values between our organizations and brought to life the tremendous impact our colleagues make each day by enabling such critical work.

Our global network of BRGs provides a voice of diverse, innovative thinking and help to enhance our culture, create personal accountability, and build strong connections within and outside our company.
