About the program

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​The Data Science Leadership Development Program is a cross-functional experience allowing participants the chance to interact across diverse teams in order to understand and develop solutions to their unique data science challenges. You can expect to be equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively analyze data, derive meaningful insights, and leverage those insights to address the immediate needs of our business and customers. 

What to expect


  • Two 1-year rotations
  • Rotations across various Thermo Fisher Groups/Divisions/Business units and/or functional areas
  • Learnings from hands-on experiences
  • Engaged assignment managers who provide day-to-day direction
  • Mentors during the program
  • Participation in various training sessions both functionally relevant and on leadership skill development
  • High-impact project ownership
  • Dedicated program managers for guidance and direction
  • Work with Program Manager to find permanent placement within the organization upon program completion

“Data science is an incredibly diverse field thanks to its many applications, so a rotational program is a great opportunity for new grads to try different roles and solidify their career interests.
