About Us: Thermo Fisher Scientific is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. Our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team is crucial in ensuring the financial and technical performance of our products throughout their lifecycle, maintaining their supportability and addressing any quality issues that arise.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our PLM team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a university student pursuing a BSc or MSc degree to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence reporting, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production and service data to monitor the financial and technical performance of our products.
  • Identify trends and quality issues in our products and provide actionable insights and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain regular Business Intelligence (BI) reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous supportability of our products by our service organization.
  • Assist in the documentation and reporting of product performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Business).
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or coursework in data analysis .
  • Understanding of financial and technical performance metrics.
  • Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
